Bridgestone brings its new Blizzak DM-V3 tires to the CIS market.
The premiere of the model in Japan took place in July of this year, but the first parties will go to the CIS markets only in December. However, we are talking about official deliveries, and we know that this is not the only channel of tire receipt, so theoretically appeared of the proposal in the Internet shops can be expected before.
Bridgestone BLIZZAK DM-V3 — an untouchable (frictional) tire intended for installation on crossovers and SUVs.
A new tread pattern with four longitudinal grooves in the central part is designed to accelerately remove the water from the contact stain. The manufacturer also promises a reduction in the brake path on the wet coverage by 6%.
Due to the increased rigidity of the tread blocks, the deformation decreased and the wear resistance increased by 25% compared to the previous model.
In the manufacture of Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V3, a rubber mixture of Active Multi Cell Compound II is used, which is already successfully used in Bridgestone Blizzakice tires.
Microbubbles in the rubber mixture allowed to reduce the brake path on the ice by 9% compared with the previous generation of winter tires — Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2.
The model will be available in 69 sizes, but they will go on sale in 2019, tentatively, about a dozen of the most popular sizes. The rest will appear in stores next season.
In the CIS countries, tires produced at the company’s factories in different countries will be presented, and not just in the Russian Federation.
«Brand Blizzak first appeared on the market in 1988 as a brand of specialized winter tires with the maximum balanced sketch characteristics. Since the start of the sale of Blizzak tires began to be very popular among customers, and for the past 18 years they remain tires No. 1 in Japan, which is evidenced by a recent study conducted in five major cities in the regions of Hokkaido and Tohoku — noted in Bridgestone. — Its results have shown that at each second passenger car from those who participated in the study are Blizzak tires. Currently, Blizzak from Bridgestone is sold in different regions, including Northern Europe, Russia and the CIS, and have already deserved high customer confidence worldwide. «
