The All-wheel drive concept of Peugeot Boxer 4×4 is prepared for traveling by any types of terrain. Peugeot Boxer is known from us as a minibus, but the new model for distant wanderings is radically changed.
The world premiere of the All-wheel drive concept Peugeot Boxer 4×4 will be held at the Salon VDL (Vehiculesde Loisirs) exhibition, which will open in Le Bourget on September 28. Show car differs from the basic model with a new radiator grille, a bumper in the body color, two rows of lanterns on the roof and increased road lumen.
On the stern of show-kara, electric mountain bike Peugeot EM02 FS Powertube, on the roof — Canadian canoe. Bicycles and canoe are considered part of the concept. The cargo compartment of the van turned into a rest for the rest of three people. As stated, on 10 square meters there is everything you need for a full-fledged and long-term rest.
The van was equipped with a transmission from the French company Dankel and tobast off-road tires. The details about the All-wheel drive system of the French kept to the world premiere of show car.
The concept of Peugeot Rifter 4×4, whose successor is named Boxer 4×4, was also developed with the participation of Dankel specialists. A feature of the show car was the all-wheel drive transmission Dangler with three modes of operation: front-wheel drive, full and full with a blocked rear axle coupling. In all likelihood, the transmission of Peugeot Boxer 4×4 is arranged by the same principle.
